Forum Title: Supply line sizing
Ok folks, I've asked so many questions that I feel like ya'll are building my home!! But OMG thanks for all the info...very helpful. As I am not in process of installing PEX I have brought a 1" supply line in from the meter to the tank. Then my plan was using 3/4" for my main supply trunk lines and then 1/2" for all the branches. Here's my question; should I run 3/4 instead of 1/2 to the bathtub and showere for faster fill and more volume...or does it not make a difference? Thanks

Frodo Ok just to make sure you did mean 3/4 to all fixtures or just the tub and shower. Thanks for your expertise

I would. imo, run all 1'' and 3/4'' use a 3/4''x 1/2'' 90 to stub out of the wall at the fixture
