2. Keep bathroom water to a minimum. Turn off the tap while shaving or brushing your teeth. Keep your eye on the unnecessary times you leave the sink running. Also watch the clock when lathering. Keep in mind that showers use less water than baths.

3. Fully load the dishwasher. You can save water in your kitchen by washing only large loads of dishes. If you don?t own a dishwasher, plug up the sink or try a wash basin to recycle water.

4. Wash only full loads of laundry. Same applies to the laundry room. Washing small loads of laundry can waste water when it?s not necessary. Also select the appropriate water level on the washing machine.
